Adele can't relate to desperation, but she does love Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso." During her Saturday, May 18, concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, Adele praised Sabrina's song. "As I got into bed last night, because [it] was very late for me, I found myself singing, 'I'm working late, cus I'm a singer,' that Sabrina Carpenter song — that song is my jam!" Adele said. Sabrina, naturally, was thrilled by the mention. "all i read was Adele thinks about me in bed," Sabrina wrote on X.

Remember the British boy band BBMAK and their big hit song from 2000, "Back Here?" Well, now it's back — in a new commercial — and so are they.
The group appears in a new ad for Bumble Bee tuna, with the song rewritten as "Snack Meal, Baby." The lyrics are now all about how Bumble Bee's various products — like Wild Caught Tuna Pouches, Tuna Salad Kits and plain old cans of tuna — make great snacks. At the end of the spot, the group harmonizes on the brand's old-school jingle, "Yum yum, Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee Tuna."
In a statement, BBMAK's Mark Barry says, "Partnering with Bumble Bee felt like a match made in heaven…BB Snack and BBMAK." He also told People that the ad "felt like the epitome of millennial nostalgia, and that’s what this partnership is all about."
BBMAK is currently part of the Pop 2000 tour, which also features *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, Ryan Cabrera, LFO and O-Town. Back in their heyday, BBMAK opened for *NSYNC's 2001 PopOdyssey tour and for Britney Spears on her 2000 Oops!...I Did It Again Tour.

Post Malone had some help securing his latest #1 hit. His collaboration with Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
It's Posty's second song of 2024 to debut at #1 — following his Taylor Swift collab, "Fortnight" — and his sixth #1 hit overall. He's also the third artist in 2024 to score two #1s so far this year, following Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar. Prior to this song and "Fortnight," Post was last on top in 2019 with "Circles."
Billboard notes that "I Had Some Help" racked up 76.4 million streams in the U.S. — more than any song in a single week since 2020. It surpassed "Fortnight," which had set a record with 76.2 million when it debuted a few weeks ago.
Post and Morgan debuted the breakup tune at the Stagecoach festival on April 28. Post then performed it solo at the ACM Awards on May 16. The song is Morgan Wallen's second Hot 100 #1 and his first to debut on top of the chart.
"I Had Some Help" is also #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. It's only the 27th song to top the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs since both charts debuted in 1958. The most recent song to hit #1 on both charts was Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em" earlier this year.

Harry Styles appears to be back on the market.
People has learned that the "As It Was" singer and actress Taylor Russell have broken up after less than a year. The news comes just a few weeks after a source told the mag that the couple's relationship was solid and getting "fairly serious." A British tabloid reported that the two broke up after a joint trip to Japan in April.
Harry and Taylor were first seen together in June of 2023. In July, Taylor was seen at Harry's concert in Vienna, Austria, and then the two were filmed spending the day together hanging out in the city. In August, Harry was seen attending the opening night for Taylor's play in London as well as the after-party. They continued to be seen together in the following months.
The news comes exactly two years to the day after the release of Harry's House, which solidified Harry's status as a global pop superstar. A number of the songs on Harry's House were thought to have been inspired by Harry's previous relationship with Olivia Wilde.

Back when Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" came out in 2019, Billboard wouldn't allow it to appear on the country chart because it didn't "embrace enough elements of today's country music to chart in its current form." But now, things are different, which is making Nas feel regretful.
Beyoncé's foray into country music, "Texas Hold 'Em," was #1 for 10 weeks on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, and then it was replaced by "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by another Black artist, Shaboozey. "A Bar Song" interpolates the 2004 rap hit "Tipsy" by J-Kwon.
Lil Nas X tells the BBC that he's "happy" that Bey and Shaboozey are having success on the country charts but admits, "I wish this would have happened for me. I wasn't even able to experience this."
Asked if he's now tempted to try that genre out again, Nas tells the BBC that he's been "trying out some country [sounds] here and there over the last couple of years" but adds, "I want to feel connected to it and not force it."
These days, Nas says he feels "less focused on creating hits," but he won't go so far as to say that they don't matter to him any more.
"Of course I know my own worth, but these are the things that are going to feed your family and the people around you who have helped build what you're creating," he explains. "So it's important. I can't just say [screw] hits, because I need them."
Lil Nas' latest hit is his collab with Camila Cabello, "He Knows."

It's been quite a while since we've heard from Zedd, but the EDM star has just announced his return.
He'll release Telos, his first album in nine years, on August 30. He says in a statement, "With Telos, I wanted to create a profound album listening experience that takes you on a journey beyond just the songs."
"I wanted everyone to be able to feel a deeper emotional connection, like how I felt listening to my favorite albums when I was growing up," he continues. "It was the details, transitions and cohesiveness that made me want to create a truly meaningful body of work.”
Explaining the nearly 10-year gap between albums, Zedd says he needed enough time to "properly focus and craft something exceptional that lives up to my standards."
Zedd says that on the album he worked with "some of my musical heroes, best friends, and favorite new artists," but as of yet, we don't know who any of those people are. However, Zedd declares, "I can confidently say that I have made my best album yet.”
In the past, Zedd has scored hits with songs featuring Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Paramore's Hayley Williams, Foxes, Alessia Cara and Maren Morris, among others.
Meanwhile, the fourth edition of the artist's Zedd In The Park festival is scheduled for September 6 and 7 at LA's Historic Park.

Adele has never confirmed that she and Rich Paul are married, but during her Las Vegas show on May 17, she referred to Paul's daughter as "my stepdaughter."
In a fan-captured video, Adele is seen onstage saying, "It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend. Her name is Reonna and she's graduating from Clark tomorrow in Atlanta. So, I love you, darling. Congratulations.”
Adele also noted that Reonna is the first member of her family to graduate from college, adding, "How amazing is that? It’s a f****** vibe. So they’re all in Atlanta, and they’re celebrating her. And obviously I’m here with you — wouldn’t be anywhere else — but I love you, baby. I love you!”
Adele and Paul, a sports agent, have been dating since 2021.
During the same show, according to the Daily Mail, Adele announced, "Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy." Adele shares 11-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
"I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world," Adele continued. "That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she? With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Selena Gomez's new film, Emilia Pérez, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, and it was a rousing success.
Variety reports the film earned a nine-minute standing ovation, which was, at that point, the longest of any other film at the festival. According to Variety, Selena cried at the reaction from the crowd.
Emilia Pérez is about a Rita, a lawyer played by Zoe Saldaña, who helps Manitas, a drug cartel leader, played by Karla Sofía Gascón, get gender-affirming surgery to become a woman. Selena plays Manitas' wife, who doesn't know of her husband's plans to transition. The actors sing at various points in the film.
“It was captivating, it was heartbreaking, it was really moving to me,” Selena told Variety of the film, which she saw for the first time at the Cannes screening. "I had a blast and I love the songs. I think they’re really beautiful.”
Selena wrote on Instagram, "Thank you Cannes! I’m so honored to be a small part of something so special in Emilia Pérez." She also thanked director Jacques Audiard "from the bottom of my heart for believing in me," as well as her co-stars: "Every single person a part of this film absolutely blew me away. Love you guys."
